Tips for Accurate Measurements
Remove the foam from its cover
If replacing existing foam, measure the old foam piece itself — not the cover — for the most accurate dimensions.
Measure on a flat surface
Place the old foam or measure the space on a flat, hard surface to avoid errors from uneven surfaces.
Round to the nearest 1/4 inch
We can cut to 1/4-inch precision. Enter your measurements to the nearest quarter-inch for the best fit.
Measure depth (thickness) carefully
Sofa seats are usually 4–5 inches deep. Chair pads 2–3 inches. Back cushions 3–4 inches. Measure your existing cushion to confirm.
